I’ve become kind of enamoured by this cyborg assassin married couple that I created on a whim but I have too many projects to work on already…
I wish I could make video games so I could make a dumb hack-n-slash game about a dystopian cyborg assassin married couple.
Gijinka/ human design of my FR dragon Beatrice because why not.
Been trying out slightly different ways of shading and I am pretty happy with how it looks!
I wanna do gijinka designs of all my favourite dragons because this was pretty fun, but we’ll see how that goes haha
Some imp commissions I did on subeta a little while ago and forgot to upload, oop.
I haven’t done any commissions lately because I’ve felt really burnt out drawing imps and I just… don’t want to do any more for a while honestly. (if you want something larger, I am open to bribes; feel free to send me a smail and maybe we can work something out)
hi subeta tag friends. i’ve already talked to a few friends about this, but i thought i’d get the opinion of others on the matter, since it’s something i’m really unfamiliar with handling.
i do profile commissions, and about two weeks ago i pinged a user who commissioned me with the finished…
When I do commissions and I ping someone, if they don’t reply in a day or two I drop them a comment letting them know with a link to the forum post. The vast majority of the time it is because they missed it, or pings don’t work or whatever. Definitely drop them a comment now letting them know. If they don’t reply within about 24 hours, comment them again. Be polite but firm.
When you showed them the finished product, did you show them a screenshot, or did you give them the graphics+coding? If you just showed them a screenshot, that’s ok, they can’t really do a whole lot with that. If you gave them the coding, I would suggest deleting the images involved, and the coding if possible, and replacing it with a screenshot. Obviously this doesn’t help if they’ve already saved everything, but this would stop them from using it before they’ve paid.
If you comment them a couple of times and they haven’t responded or paid or anything, then report them. Even if they decide they don’t want it, the rules say they still have to pay once it’s been finished. I am pretty sure that if it was SP/CSC agreement, an admin will be able to make them pay. They can’t really do anything if it was a cash/USD commission, except for maybe warning them as a scammer? I have no idea, but I don’t think reporting them would hurt you either way tho.
If they don’t pay, and you want to recoup some of your losses, you could offer their commission as a template for someone at a discount (or no discount, your choice). You know, alter the images/words/colours etc but keeping the core of it essentially the same, so that way your effort isn’t wasted.
I would also say to post a warning on them here. On Subeta its targeting but on tumblr that doesn’t matter! I know I wouldn’t want to work for someone who had ripped off another artist and may rip myself off, and I can’t imagine any other artist would feel terribly different. Just be sure to show all evidence and if they try to start something, then maybe they should have fucking paid. (but of course if you would rather just drop it, then that’s your choice and I can understand not wanting to bother.)
SORRY TL;DR but you deserve to be paid for your work! Don’t let people rip you off. They owe you that payment so be tough about it.
I’ve only seen two fedoras so far but one was also wearing a long black trenchcoat and buying a sword so there’s that.
been feeling kinda lousy lately so I drew a couple of my dumb Flight Rising dragons. I’ve never really drawn dragons before and I don’t know what I’m doing oop
If you want to add me or something I am nehinah (#57937), more friends are always neat.
I also drew Lucifer in lingerie for mutilate because I guess I was on a roll with this mostly naked men thing.
